Thank you for your interest in enrolling your child at Helensvale State School.

Helensvale State School opened in 1984 and since then has grown steadily. The school's establishment was a part of the establishment of Helensvale as integrated suburb on the Gold Coast.

Helensvale State School is a co-educational learning facility catering for students from Prep to Year 6. We are located in Helensvale, surrounded by the neighbouring suburbs of Hope Island, Coombabah, Pacific Pines and Oxenford.

Helensvale State School is a vibrant and inclusive learning community where every student is supported to thrive. We are committed to nurturing confident, capable learners through high-quality teaching, strong relationships, and a focus on student wellbeing.

Guided by our motto, “Empowered Learners, Healthy Humans,” we prioritise both academic excellence and the social, emotional, and physical development of every child. We believe that when students feel safe, supported, and inspired, they are empowered to reach their full potential.

At Helensvale State School, we foster curiosity, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning, preparing our students not just for school—but for future success and wellbeing in an ever-changing world.
